1. **Create a Quiet and Comfortable Environment:**
Find a peaceful space where you can comfortably sit or lie down without interruptions. Ensure that the room is quiet and free from distractions to fully immerse yourself in the breathwork meditation session.
2. **Follow the Guided Instruction:**
Pay close attention to Denise’s guided instructions in the lesson. Denise provides specific cues on how to breathe and when to inhale and exhale. Trust the process and allow yourself to be fully present in the experience.
3. **Try not to stop breathing:**
Denise will introduce you to the Constant Connected Breath during the session. At first this can feel a little uncomfortable but it is perfectly safe and you will start to understand how effective it can be if you stick with it. Listen to how Denise describes ‘pushing the belly up’ and follow along.
4. **Let Go of Expectations:**
As a beginner, it’s natural to have expectations about the breathwork meditation experience. However, try to release any preconceived notions and approach the session with an open mind. Each experience is unique, and allowing yourself to be present in the moment will yield the best results.
